A dog-friendly Bolthole with a beach on your doorstep
Coron at Capel Seion is one of three apartments in a converted stone Methodist chapel with sea views, slap bang in the coastal village of Aberffraw. This lovely Bolthole, which sleeps 6, has been transformed into the sleekest, snuggest of hideaways.
None of your boring old beige here – instead, find bright colours, modern art, eclectic furniture and light streaming in through windows. A neat kitchen has everything needed to rustle up a romantic supper; dine at a large table. A seriously super place for families or friends to sink into the sofas and catch up.
Sleep deeply in uncluttered bedrooms with white walls, good lighting and colourful art on the walls. One king room with TV and en-suite and two twins with chunky wood chapel panelled walls sleeps six. The white family bathroom sparkles - soak up the great bath.
Coron also houses a very unique stairway to heaven (not literally but come and stay and you will pardon the musical reference).
Head over to Rhosneigr for more eateries. The Oyster Catcher is only a few miles away or for simpler fare, the Llys Llewelyn Tea Rooms over the way have great cakes.
The beach is around the corner - you could happily hole-up here at Coron for weeks.
