Custom Mews sits on quiet Bryn Lane in historic Beaumaris, 50 yards from the seafront while a 2 minute walk along Rosemary Lane takes you to the centre of this beautiful medieval town. The house itself has an interesting history and was completely renovated in 2023. Now, exposed stone walls, slate floors, huge sash windows and ancient beams blend seamlessly with modern bathrooms, kitchen and a mix of contemporary furniture and antique pieces to provide a perfect Beaumaris bolthole.
There are two bedrooms and a shower room downstairs. Upstairs is a large space constituting the open plan kitchen, dining and living area as well as a second shower room. Vaulted ceilings, beams and the incredible stonework on the exposed gable give this room real wow-factor while remaining a practical and sociable space to relax in after a days exploring or to gather for an evening meal. If you decide to eat out, you'll be spoilt for choice with good cafes, pubs and restaurants within easy walking distance. Enjoy dinner at The Bull, The Bishopsgate Hotel and The Midland, treat yourselves to afternoon tea at Beau's Tea Room or possibly the best ice cream on Anglesey at The Red Boat Ice Cream Parlour. Take out fish and chips from The Dockshack or Neptune Bistro and days when an easy option is the best. And with Mercado and Tredici which both combine a butcher's shop with delicatessen, seafood from The Menai Seafood Company and the excellent Central Bakery, there's plenty of choice on your doorstep.
This lovely holiday cottage is a perfect base in which to spend time with family or friends, getting to know this delightful corner of North Wales.
