Bwthyn Gwyn is a scandi-style lodge hidden away in beautiful broadleaf woodland on a private lane, just outside the hamlet of Bwlch on the northeast coast of Anglesey.
Tucked away near Benllechon, a short walk along footpaths and lanes pops you out in lively Benllech with its sweeping sandy beach and a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants. Yet back here at Bwthyn Gwyn, you'll feel like you are a million miles from life's hustle and bustle.
Inside this quiet holiday lodge, you'll find a spacious and bright space with lots of windows and french doors that lead out onto the patio and garden areas.
A log burning stove, modern heating system, double glazing and a lovely tongue and groove wooden interior keep things warm and toasty, even on the chilliest of evenings.
The main living area is a large sociable space with a stylish kitchen and dining area and comfy sofas to relax while watching TV or chatting around the stove.
There are two large bedrooms at either end of the house, each with lovely ensuite shower rooms. Both have separate access to the gardens through french windows.
You'll find a wonderfully sheltered stone flagged patio outside, making an excellent spot for al fresco evening drinks with the chiminea blazing away. The lawned area is ideal for making the most of sunny days when you don't want to stray far from home - the first one outside gets to sit in the swinging chair!
Eating out is a pleasure with popular destinations including The Ship Inn, The Boathouse and the Tavern On The Bay nearby in Red Wharf Bay. Ann's Pantry in Moelfre serves up tasty breakfasts, lunches and afternoon teas - check opening times before setting out. Stretch your legs with a walk along Lligwy beach and follow it up with a great coffee or oven-baked pizza from the bustling licenced beach cafe. The beach shop at Traeth Bychan serves breakfast, lunch, and wood-fired pizza, all take-out style and is well stocked with wetsuits, paddleboards, and ice cream.
And with the Anglesey coastal path stretching away and a wonderful choice of sandy beaches, Bwthyn Gwyn is a Hideaway where you can turn up, turn off and relax in peace.
