A coastal Bolthole for six just a flip-flop from Traeth Bychan
Dinas Cottage sits above beautiful Traeth Bychan on the sheltered east coast of Anglesey between Moelfre and Benllech. Traeth Bychan is one of Anglesey's favourite beaches and it's literally just a stone's throw from the cottage.
This coastal holiday cottage itself is adjoined to the owner's house. Downstairs, you'll find a roomy dining room for six and a modern kitchen equipped with a fridge/freezer, microwave, an electric oven and hob and dishwasher. In addition, there are three ground floor bedrooms (two kings and a twin) and a family shower room.
Dinas Cottage is an "upside-down" holiday house - climb the stairs to the sitting room where patio doors open out onto the balcony. This is simply the perfect place, sundowner in hand, from which to enjoy the evening as the sun begins to set. Step through the sitting room into a quiet living room again with coastal views. There's also a second shower room on this floor.
Outside, to the rear of the cottage, there is a peaceful decked area with seating for six and four reclining loungers. There is plenty of private parking at the front of the cottage. Dinas Cottage is so wonderfully located that you may not wish to explore further afield than this Hideaway with its close proximity to the Anglesey coastal path. Just above Traeth Bychan, you'll also find the best-woodfired pizza in the area at The Beach Shop. Here you can also hire kayaks to explore the bay.
Close by, the stunning beaches at Red Wharf Bay, Benllech, Moelfre and Lligwy beach are accessible along the Anglesey coastal path. Each is just a short drive away.
Walk across the beach or take the coastal path and head for breakfast at The Beach Shop. Visit Ann's Pantry in Moelfre for lunch and afternoon tea. Book a table at the Tavern on the Bay, The Boathouse or the Ship Inn, all popular places to eat out in Red Wharf Bay.
Or venture further afield into the coastal town of Beaumaris with its medieval castle, Victorian pier and eclectic range of independent shops, cafes and restaurants.
Please note access is by a narrow uneven track which may be unsuitable for low vehicles.
