A cosy cottage for two a stone's throw from sandy Borthwen beach
Borthwen Bach is a cosy retreat for two just a two-minute walk from Borthwen, a beautiful sandy beach which is in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and on the Anglesey Coastal Path. This is a perfect place to enjoy the plentiful and accessible coastline, with its accompanying walks and dramatic views. You can enjoy a walk on the coastal path to Church Bay and stop for lunch at the Wavecrest Café or the legendary Lobster Pot restaurant.
The cottage has a wide appeal for those that love the lull of the waves and the freedom of the sandy, secluded beach, but also like the rugged beauty of the coastal paths and views. Well-behaved dogs are warmly welcomed too.
Internally, the kitchen has a huge breakfast bar and the usual modern appliances.
A spacious bedroom offers a super king bed and an en-suite shower room, all with underfloor heating! Wait until you see the view of the stars from the shower!
A brisk two-mile walk takes you up to the village for your paper, breakfast and milk. The Black Lion pub is just two miles away as well, serving local produce, fine ales; it has a wood-burning stove (dogs invited too!).
Borthwen Bach is conveniently located to head off to explore the beauty of the Isle of Anglesey, with the majestic Snowdonia mountain range only a thirty-minute drive away.
