Pen y Fan Bellaf sits deep in verdant Anglesey countryside but is only a 20-minute drive to the beaches on this beautiful island's eastern coast. A former farm, it has been lovingly renovated by the owners who still farm the surrounding land.

Take the winding private track off a country lane and you'll find a sheltered idyll, far from the madding crowd, with only songbirds and lambs to disturb the peace.

Step inside, through the porch and along the hallway and you'll come into an open plan kitchen dining area with plenty of space for all the party to get together and relax. Bi-fold doors lead out onto the lovely patio area with an al-fresco dining area to enjoy the sun and views over the rolling countryside beyond.

At the other end of the kitchen area, there is a sunny sitting room with French windows that open onto a terraced area to the side of the house. There is also a downstairs WC and a large, well-equipped utility room off the kitchen.

Step through to the original part of the house where you will find a cosy second sitting room with comfy sofas around a wood-burning stove. Explore further into the games room, again with a wood-burning stove making it the perfect escape on winter evenings. Beyond the games room is a downstairs bedroom with a lovely ensuite wet room, suitable for guests with limited mobility; the full-length window in this room looks out onto rural views.

Upstairs are four further bedrooms - a king room with a Juliet balcony, a king room with a dressing room and access out onto the first-floor balcony. A twin room with a dressing room and a double room complete the set. There are two beautifully appointed shower/bathrooms upstairs as well.

Eat out nearby at The Bull Inn in Pentraeth or take a short drive over to Red Wharf Bay, home to The Ship Inn, Boathouse Restaurant and The Tavern On The Bay. Enjoy a round or two of golf at Stors Wen Golf Club or spend time exploring the Anglesey Coastal Path which wends its way along the coast. The beaches on the eastern side of Anglesey are beautiful, with huge expanses of sand at low tide and beautiful views. Perfect for beach days or evening strolls at the end of the day.

What a fantastic place to stay, recently refurbished so everything is modern and plush, great location being close to all attractions, the house is equipped with everything you need for a great holiday, comfortable beds and lovely bathroom. Excellent kitchen and outdoor seating area, plenty of parking, beautiful surroundings and peaceful plus excellent value. Friendly host. We have stayed at many many Airbnb places and we would highly recommend this place for a great holiday!

During August we stayed at Pen Y Fan Bellaf with extended family. We enjoyed playing in the garden with five young children (2-8 years). We were lucky enough to see a red squirrel during breakfast on our first day. The two seating areas are well thought out for sun and shelter at different times of the day. We enjoyed the woodfired pizzas at the Panton Arms, the outside dining was great for people with a young families. The football table was a stroke of genius and kept the children occupied for long stretches of time. We had a really relaxing holiday as a result of some good thinking about the design of the house and the items provided. I would highly recommend this as a place to stay.

Thank you for a wonderful stay in this fabulous house. We could not have picked a better place for our break away. The house was immaculate and the layout was perfect for us as a group of 7 friends. It is extremely well equipped too, you really have thought of everything! We loved the peaceful, rural location surrounded by fields and plenty of wildlife. Seeing a red squirrel in the garden was a hightlight! We had some lovely walks on Anglesey's beautiful beaches, we visited Beaumaris and its castle, and had some great meals in local restaurants, which were all an easy drive away. We all had a fantastic time and can't wait to come back!!!!

Fabulous time in probably the loveliest holiday house we’ve stayed in! Everything was perfect, even the weather for the last four days. Wonderful location, easy to get around the whole island. South Stack Lighthouse was a great day out and the café is fab. Saw red squirrels at the Dingle, lovely walks and Red Wharf beach, Moelfre and Lligwy are great beaches.

Thank you for a gorgeous stay in your beautiful home. The atmosphere here is so lovely from The relaxing interiors, plenty of space and incredible views to the facilities. The Smart TVs, Alexa, Bluetooth mirror and table football are all great additions! The location is brilliant and all areas of the island and really easily accessible. The outdoor space is fab, and we really utilised this with the lovely weather we had. which was gorgeous! Having the baby calves and lambs to look at in the morning was an added bonus. This location is absolutely wonderful, amazing views and an amazing stay on Anglesey. The weather was really nice despite the quick rainy showers. Seeing the sheep from your bedroom windows was very sweet. Lots of lovely wildlife to see and many nice pubs nearby and historical sites. Overall a great place to stay on holiday. A fantastic stay in a luxurious house. The setting is peaceful and beautiful. We saw red squirrels most days outside the kitchen door! The interior is beautifully finished and there is plenty of space indoors and out for children and adults. Lligwy Beach our favourite of all the week. Beach is vast and soft sand. Pizza, beer, and café all in the car park...Tavern on the Bay beautiful setting. Happy Valley Pavilion, Beaumaris fantastic cakes, great to visit after Beaumaris castle with kids’ playground and bowling green. Thank you for a fantastic place full of homely touches.

What a wonderful week spent on Anglesey – our first visit and certainly not the last! Your property has been tastefully renovated, full of home comforts with everything provided for a most enjoyable holiday. The location is very peaceful, fab views and the grandchildren have been well entertained with the sheep. and cows. They have enjoyed the outdoor space, of freedom in a very safe environment. We have visited quite a lot of beaches where they have been in the sea and also crabbing. We have been lucky with the weather! What a wonderful week on Anglesey! Thank you Gareth & Linda for letting us stay in your lovely house. We’ve thoroughly enjoyed it! Highlights included: Seeing our first Red Squirrel in the garden! The Medieval Festival at Beaumaris Castle over the bank holiday weekend. Visited Newborugh, Benllech, Red Wharf Bay and Lligwy beaches all lovely. We had a wonderful meal in Tavern on the Bay looking out over the bay. Finally the boys loved crabbing on Beaumaris Pier and we’ve left the crabbing kit at the house for others to enjoy.
