Nyth y Gwdihw (Owl's nest in Welsh) sits in quiet countryside a couple of miles outside Rhosneigr. Newly constructed in 2023, its spacious and light and makes a perfect Anglesey base near the west coast. There are two very spacious King sized bedrooms, one of which is ensuite with french windows opening to the outside terrace. There is also a smaller single bedroom.

The main living area consists of a sociable open plan kitchen, living and dining area and is light and bright with glass doors opening up to another sunny terrace with outdoor sofas and parasol- a perfect spot to relax after a busy day on the beach. The kitchen is well equipped and modern and an inspiring place to cook while looking out over the surrounding fields.

This is a place to come and hide, to sit out in the garden with a good book, or to take up walks in the lovely countryside around you.

What people say about this cottage

This was a really well equipped and very clean Airbnb. Communication with Boltholes and Hideaways was great, they always replied very quickly and were very helpfull. We had Christmas there and there was all the equipment that we needed to cook a good Christmas meal. There was even a tree and crackers. Very well laid out bungalow, outside taps for muddy boots and dog. Living room with it's sky lights and large windows was great for watching the somewhat terrifying thunder and lightning and hail storm one night. Temperatures could be adjusted in all rooms and showers were lovely. Would definitely stay again.
