Ty Mawr
With its garden leading directly on to Llanddona Beach, Ty Mawr is the perfect base for paddleboarders. With wide open coastal waters right on your doorstep, you can launch your paddleboard at first light and glide across the calm sea as the sun rises over the horizon, with stunning panoramic views of Red Wharf Bay.
Once you're done exploring the coastline, return to this delightful hideaway, where you can rest and refuel on the mezzanine for another day of paddleboarding bliss. With breathtaking views and a peaceful atmosphere, Ty Mawr is a paddleboarding retreat like no other.
Min Y Don
Min y Don is a colourful bolthole, which sits above the sandy estuary of the Afon (river) Ffraw – perfect for those looking for a tranquil drift along the water.
Tucked away in Aberffraw, this bolthole is in a wonderful location for exploring the south and west coasts of Anglesey. The Anglesey coastal path is also nearby, where you can discover glorious hidden beaches and rock pools.
Min y Don gives you the chance to immerse yourself in nature, combining coastal exploration with tranquillity. After a day of adventure, enjoy the wood-fired hot tub, relax, and recharge while gazing out over endless sea views. This spot is perfect for those who love both adrenaline and relaxation in equal measure.
Tideaway
If you're seeking both convenience and charm, Tideaway is just the hideaway for you.
With the Trearddur Bay shoreline just a hop, skip and jump away, this bolthole allows you to make the most of North Wales’s paddleboarding scene without venturing far from home. Even better? Paddleboards are on loan from Blue Chameleon, just a 2-minute walk from Tideaway, making it incredibly easy to gear up and hit the water at a moment’s notice.
Return for a hot chocolate in the child and dog-safe garden or relax in the hot tub and congregate on the sofa on the patio area. Or, if a tipple is on your mind, enjoy a well-deserved drink (or two!) at one of the many fantastic pubs in Trearddur Bay.
