Grade II* listed house and gardens near Abersoch
Plas Bodegroes is an exceptionally beautiful Grade II* listed house and gardens on the stunning Llyn Peninsula.
A long gravel driveway meanders between estate fencing to bring you here, its like stepping back in time to a world of Georgian elegance and Downton-esque opulance. The vast lawns to the front are peppered with sculptural points of interest and pathways lead to secret seating areas and formal spaces such as the Japanese acer garden. The veranda to the front is festooned in purple Wisteria in the spring and the partially covered water garden off the kitchens and dining room is a perfect spot for al fresco dining.
Enter through the front door and a bar area leads to to the entrance hall with its sweeping staircase. The principal living areas are all downstairs, the vast sitting room, drawing room as well as the dining room with table for 22 and the kitchen beyond. Plas Bodegroes was formerly Wales' first Michelin starred restaurant and although the kitchens are brand new, you can still see a nod to culinary expectations in the facilities provided.
There are 9 bedrooms in the main house, all with ensuite bathrooms. The annex is accessed from the covered veranda and has a further two ensuite bedrooms.
Whether for a long awaited get-together with friends or a special family occassion, Plas Bodegroes offers a unique proposition in this beautiful and historic space.
