A simple Bolthole for five 300 yards from Llanbedrog beach
Pencoed is a simple Bolthole for five, perfectly positioned in the small village of Llanbedrog, a few miles from its busier and more famous neighbour, Abersoch.
The house is a stone's throw from the ancient church of St Pedrog and the art gallery and cafe at Plas Glyn y Weddw just beyond. It is a short, 300 yard walk past these to the famous, sheltered sandy beach of Llanbedrog with its popular beach bar and colourful huts.
Inside Pencoed, you'll find three bedrooms on the ground floor - a double, a twin and a single, and a family bathroom. The twin bedroom gives access to the sheltered rear courtyard, which has outside dining furniture - there are also steps down directly from the kitchen to this area.
Climb the stairs up to the first-floor living area. The spacious kitchen diner combines a well-equipped kitchen with a dining table and seating for five. Beyond is the sitting room, with comfortable sofas to relax on, which leads out onto a fantastic balcony. What a perfect spot to enjoy a sundowner whilst enjoying the views!
As well as its well-loved beach bar, Aqua, Llanbedrog has two pubs - The Ship Inn and the Glyn y Weddw Arms, and a well-stocked grocery shop. Close by, Oriel Plas Glyn y Weddw Arts Centre and cafe is a popular attraction for many visitors. Llanbedrog is located at one of the most scenic and interesting sections of the coastal path - don't miss the Iron Man sculpture, which is found on the path that traverses the National Trust owned headland to the south of the beach.
Pencoed makes a great base whether you're here to walk and explore the Llyn Peninsula or to spend a special summer holiday in one of North Wales' most charming villages.
