Cottage in Morfa Nefyn a short walk to beach and Ty Coch pub
A coastal haven for six in Morfa Nefyn surrounded by huge skies, a short stroll from the sea – hide away or explore the rugged coast.
Turn off the coastal road into Morfa Nefyn until you reach the very last cul-de-sac of houses. Love and care have been lavished artfully on this bolthole.
The garden is a joy with enough space for seaside socialising - to crack open a beer and BBQ. Wake up to birdsong in the main bedroom – the patio doors bring in the smell of sea in the wind. Better still, the bathroom is on hand with a freestanding bathtub to soak in glory - it’s bright and vibrant to match the zing of the bedroom. Next door another double bedroom – sleep soundly in a seriously comfortable brass bed. Or a sweet twin room is just great for two. Both room share a shower room next door.
Light pours through the patio doors into the striking open-plan living space with a flame-effect fire. The furniture and interesting art are dotted about in perfection. The spaces are all just as bright with styling curated by the inspirational Cwt Tatws team – via the lifestyle destination store in Tudweiliog selling stylish homeware, clothes and home-cooked food. Must be on the bucket list…
The simple kitchen is a great place to gather for meals. Welsh inspired artworks hang on walls and the quality of light makes it a grand spot for morning croissants. Porthdinllaen Café is just around the corner for a fry up!

The pub, Ty Coch, which lies at the top of the beach is the best beach bar in the world apparently – you will have to try it for yourself. The golf course It is set high on the sea cliffs of the narrow peninsula overlooking Porthdinllaen bay – not for the faint-hearted though. Nefyn is the next village – small and thriving with cafes and shops. Nefyn beach is a two-mile long sweep of sands, but if you need more coast, Abersoch is about a 20 minute drive away, or Aberdaron is about the same. Porthor a National Trust area is a breathtaking feast of views. Lots of sand and sea...
