A stylish Bolthole for four nestled by the Menai Strait with ever changing sea views
Noddfa is a super stylish getaway on the coast with watery views over the Menai Strait. Renovated to perfection, you can sit and hear the waves lap from the balcony. The iconic Menai Bridge is a stunning backdrop to this coastal Bolthole which is just a short walk from the heart of Menai Bridge.
The smart kitchen with its top-notch appliances is a great place to eat, relax and cook. Take drinks to the front balcony and gaze out to sea. There is also a chill-out terrace for the evenings at the top of the rear garden. The sturdy buttresses of the Menai Bridge provide an impressive backdrop over the rooftops.
Sink into the large comfortable sofa in front of the wood-burner at the end of a day to chat and plan tomorrow and new adventures. Eclectic art, both local and from further afield and a Smart TV add to the ambience.
Bedrooms are light, bright and stylishly furnished with big comfy beds. The main bedroom has a balcony and an ensuite shower room to boot! The family bathroom is marine elegance personified with a deep bath, shower and fine fittings.
Pop-out to buy fresh bread for breakfast from Dylans’s new shop on the high street and eat out on the terrace. Or there are plenty of restaurants within five minutes’ walk – The Menai Strait is famous for its shellfish so you’ll always find mussels and oysters on the menu over at Dylans’s restaurant down the road. Menai Bridge is a leafy residential area with a Waitrose, a few bars, eateries, eclectic little shops such as Hawthorne Yard and Space Like This for interior inspiration.
Along the Menai Strait are little shingle beaches hidden between the trees. Church Island is a short stride around the corner along the Belgian Promenade from Noddfa and makes a great circular walk. Noddfa is right on the Anglesey Coastal footpath so perfectly placed for those who love to explore on foot.
For more culture, wonderful Beaumaris down the coast has bars, art galleries and shops and a rather fine pier. The old castle is worth a visit too. Everything you need is here.
