Light and spacious barn conversion for two near Church Bay
Hebog, which is the Welsh name for Hawk, is a beautiful barn conversion for two, set in stunning countryside near the wild coast of North West Anglesey. This lovely Hideaway is a self-contained dog-friendly holiday cottage and all accommodation is on the ground floor.
Step into the large open plan kitchen/dining/living area - with two sets of French windows opening out onto a private patio, this is a light and welcoming space. Hebog's modern, fully fitted kitchen is well equipped for times when you prefer to cook after days out and about. The cosy living area commands lovely rural views - throw open the French windows on warm days or when the weather is less accommodating, this is a great space to settle down and watch the elements in comfort.
Along the hallway is an airy king-size bedroom with an ensuite shower room. French windows from the bedroom leading out onto the patio where there is an outside bistro set and lawned area.
Hebog is located close to the Anglesey coastal path, where you can walk for miles enjoying wonderful coastal walks. The nearest beach to the cottage is Traeth y Fydlyn - a shingle beach with wonderful views. Birdwatchers and wildlife enthusiasts will love Cemlyn Bay and its seabird colonies, just a short drive away. Church Bay, home to the Lobster Pot and the Wavecrest Cafe, is just a 10-minute drive to the west; at low tide, this beach is a perfect horseshoe of sand backed by rock pools. And if you have an interest in history, then do pay a visit to Swtan Heritage Museum and explore the restored crogloft cottage.
Hebog can be booked along with Bwncath (three bedrooms) - they have an interconnecting door - and together, accommodate up to 8 guests. Ideal for extended families or friends looking to spend time together.
