An enchanting Hideaway tucked away down a country lane near the Malltraeth Estuary
Down a tiny country lane, surrounded by fields is an enchanting dog-friendly escape. The setting is superb: on a clear day, sit and gaze from Tan Yr Allt across the Malltraeth estuary and at huge skies. You can catch a glimpse of Newborough beach in the distance.
The living area is light, bright and compact - the vast burnt orange sofa and a crackling wood stove make for lazy evenings in. The gleaming kitchen with a round table for four and those views compensate for the snug layout! It is ideal for couples but can take a family that enjoys a cosy abode.
Sleep peacefully next door in a cosy bedroom with a super-king bed and there’s a neat twin room at the end. One family bathroom has a bath with a shower over for a brisk refreshing start to the day.
The outdoor sofa in summer is ideal to sprawl and play games at. A few minutes walk takes you to the estuary to spot a myriad of sea birds.
Though you could happily retreat from the world, there’s wonderful walking from the front door here at Tan Yr Allt. It’s not a skip to a good local pub and shopping but it’s not too far – Aberffraw has the closest for the pub for food at Y Goron about a five-mile drive. The local shop in Bethel is only a mile or so away in the car.
Return to a glass of locally brewed Jaspel’s cider and the views. It’s a place for peace lovers.
