Penrhyn Geiriol sits on the outskirts of the village of Trearddur Bay, just a short walk to the village and its main horse-shoe sandy beach. Inside, the accommodation is all on one level. Off the main corridor, you'll find three comfortable bedrooms - two king-size bedrooms and a triple bunk room - along with a family bathroom and a separate WC.

Beyond, you'll find the spacious sitting/dining room with a lovely L-shaped sofa perfect for gatherings around the cosy wood-burning stove. Patio doors lead out from this space onto the front terrace and fill the room with light. Step through into a modern, well-equipped kitchen with rural views and beyond into a handy utility room.

There is a great choice of restaurants and pubs in Trearddur Bay, including The Seacroft, the Trearddur Bay Hotel and Driftwood Restaurant and Bar. Children will love The Sea Shanty's extensive menu and ice cream parlour.

South Stack, with its imperious cliffs, is a must for anyone who loves bird life and spectacular sea views. The 400 steps down to the lighthouse here are worth the effort - remember, you will need to climb back up at some point! This is a beautiful house, set in even more beautiful surroundings. The rooms were spacious and comfortable with good beds and peaceful decor. The living space was well planned and had ample room for our 7. Big windows gave tons of natural light as well as a lovely view. The 1.5 baths worked out well for us, and the full bath had a nice size shower. Our kids played in the back yard for hours every evening after a full day of hiking. We arrived on the local bus and the stop is just at the end of the street. The village of Trearddur is about a 10 minute walk down to the shore and truly is a special place. Great food, stunning beaches and well marked hike of trails taking you along the coast. The little grocery store is practical and we cooked in one night (the kitchen was well equipped and thoughtfully stocked). We absolutely loved our stay here and would return without hesitation :)
