A coastal dog-friendly Bolthole for seven with a large garden
Penrhyn Geiriol sits on the outskirts of the village of Trearddur Bay, just a short walk to the village and its main horse-shoe sandy beach. Following the Anglesey coastal path, you can easily explore any of the smaller sandy coves that dot the rocky coastline between Trearddur and South Stack from this quiet holiday Hideaway.
This dog-friendly holiday house for seven sits in a large plot with plenty of parking to the front. The huge rear garden slopes down to open fields and commands views over the inland sea and Holyhead Mountain.
Inside, the accommodation is all on one level. Off the main corridor, you'll find three comfortable bedrooms - two king-size bedrooms and a triple bunk room - along with a family bathroom and a separate WC.
Beyond, you'll find the spacious sitting/dining room with a lovely L-shaped sofa perfect for gatherings around the cosy wood-burning stove. Patio doors lead out from this space onto the front terrace and fill the room with light. Step through into a modern, well-equipped kitchen with rural views and beyond into a handy utility room.
There is a great choice of restaurants and pubs in Trearddur Bay, including The Seacroft, the Trearddur Bay Hotel and Driftwood Restaurant and Bar. Children will love The Sea Shanty's extensive menu and ice cream parlour.
South Stack, with its imperious cliffs, is a must for anyone who loves bird life and spectacular sea views. The 400 steps down to the lighthouse here are worth the effort - remember, you will need to climb back up at some point! Those seeking adventure should check out Anglesey Outdoors, where you can book various outdoor activities.
Penrhyn Geiriol is a great choice for salty summer holidays or as a base for wild winter walking breaks, using the stunning coastal path nearby.
