Home | The Wonderful Welsh Trail: late summer

Late summer may well be North Wales’ best-kept secret. The sea has had all summer to warm, the busiest weeks begin to quieten, and there’s still plenty of light left in the day. As August slips into September, it’s the perfect time to keep exploring the Wonderful Welsh Trail.

In Rhosneigr, make the most of the last long beach days with surfing, paddleboarding and salty swims, before wandering into the village for good food and a drink in the evening sun. Or head inland to Betws y Coed, where woodland trails wind towards hidden lakes and rushing waterfalls, and the first hints of autumn begin to appear among the trees.

Two very different sides of North Wales. One more reason to stretch summer a little further with the Wonderful Welsh Trail.
