A welcoming lobby welcomes you beautifully with ample coat and lead hanging. From here it’s just a few strides to Finbar’s Retreat – a sweet bolthole for two across the courtyard. This is the place to hide! Almost self-contained with ensuite, a little coffee and tea station and fridge and Smart TV too. Or step outside, for hidden peace on balmy evenings, sit outside in restful chairs and
watch the stars come out with a chilled glass of something bubbly in hand. Immerse yourself in the hot tub with bubbles in hand. Or if you get bored with that, treat yourselves to great food at one of the amazing Beaumaris restaurants a short walk away. Beaumaris is a bustling happy place, so potter in the local, quirky shops and of course there’s the sea front and Castle to discover. Fish and chips on the Victorian pier, visit the Red Boat Ice Cream parlour, the children love crabbing or perhaps a boat trip to see Puffin Island, never fail to delight.
The coastal path is here for bracing walks in either direction, there are miles of gentle walks. Penmon is an easy drive away. Wander along coastal paths, climb hills and admire stunning views. Snowdonia is across the Menai Strait just a 20-minute drive away for the more adventurous. Red Wharf Bay and Lligwy are a hop along the coast for beach bucket days out, dog friendly too.
