Spacious, contemporary house for 10 near Rhoscolyn
The Nook is a smart getaway for 10 in an enviable spot with beaches and coastal walks on your doorstep.
This magical space is all about celebration! An open plan living and dining space, faultlessly comfortable and flooded with light. The wall of glass patio doors leads out to the garden where you’ll find furniture for lounging, a table for al fresco meals and a barbecue together. Unwind after a day’s exploring in the elegant living space where blinds can be remotely closed for cosy long evenings with the large TV if the weather is foul.
The kitchen is sleek and geared for proper cooks with plenty of prepping space, and an electric oven and hob big enough for entertaining. You can eat around a larger table in the living space or at the round table in the kitchen. Or use both. A handy double bedroom is tucked away down the hall with a cloak WC/sink opposite. A sunny room in the mornings, the patio door makes for an easy dart forthe coffee and croissants outdoors and birdsong.
At the top of the stairs is a cosy nook, on rainy days this will be a lovely spot for sitting with a book or planning your next outing. A king bedroom overlooks the quiet garden bright and fresh, with original artwork, good mattresses and linen. The glass balcony and an ensuite may make the others jealous.
Two other bedrooms have well-dressed king size beds, plump mattresses and share a spotless bathroom. The largest bedroom has distance views across to the Inland Sea. An ensuite and enough room for a yoga class - this is sumptuous at its best. Each first floor bedroom has a TV.
Situated on the edge of countryside in Four Mile Bridge - a quiet hamlet next to the Cymyran Strait and slap bang between popular Rhoscolyn and Trearddur Bay. There are wonderful walks from the door through pristine countryside, narrow lanes with high hedges, then miles of well-kept farmland. Nip down the lane to Rhoscolyn to the fabulous White Eagle pub for lunch and head for Borthwen beach for a wander. In the other direction head for Treaddur Bay to find a sandy expanse for bucket and spade heaven. The Sea Shanty for great food and ice cream, a golf course and a haven for all water sports.
Or stay put and catch fish off the bridge at Four Mile, or for the wild (and when the tide is right) jump off it and enjoy the waters…
