Tucked away on the mountain, Bron Heulog will blow the cobwebs away and restore your soul. It feels like the middle of nowhere, but is just four miles from Moelfre beach – this is the place for peace seekers but also a handy base from which to search out adventures.

A patio door leads out to a terrace with a second dining table for summer eating facing the wonderful green views across miles of the island over to Snowdonia.
Come with the children, they’ll love the jaunty twin bedroom. The main bedroom is has a shower room where you can scrub up after a day of adventure. Next door is another small double room.
The jacuzzi bath is quite something – soak and dream.

Come with your bike and pedal for miles along the ancient tangle of country lanes. Walks are superb from the door and there is a lake up the road with views that get better and better.
With the lure of the fishing village Moelfre down the road with a great pub for food, or Red Wharf Bay with the Ship Inn and the Boathouse, the cook among you can have a holiday too with some meals out. Beaches stretch for miles, so take your pick for seaside trips.
However you opt to spend your day, Bron Heulog has a friendly, relaxed atmosphere; pick a book from the shelf, settle by the wood-burning stove, perhaps with a well-run dog at your feet.
