Standing tall in an enchanting spot in the village of Moelfre, 2 Trem Y Mor is an inviting lofty space for six. The beach is a pebble’s throw away from this lovely modern holiday house and there is a hot tub to boot! (Seats 4 - 6, please note this is an optional extra charged at £175 per stay and can be added to your booking if required).
Evenings are for cooking dinner on the barbecue and gazing out at the stunning Moelfre coast – all you’ll hear is the crackle of flames. On cooler evenings, snuggle around the wood-burner.
Climb into your comfortable bed after a long day of relaxing - there might be a tussle for the cavernous main ground floor bedroom with its airy feel and patio doors to the terrace. A few steps to the hot tub from the bed – back to a drenching shower and bed - life here is sublime.
Ultimately everyone will be happy at bedtime though as the other two bedrooms on the ground floor are airy and simple. A wooden staircase leads to the open-plan chic living space which draws the eye at all times to the glass balcony. Watching boats bob and looking out for seals and dolphins - it simply is the best place. Sit under the stars, finish that book or settle down by the fire to watch a film on the large screen.
Cooks will be happy with the view-filled kitchen and there’s plenty of equipment to cook good local food.
Wander happily down from 2 Trem Y Mor to the fishing village of Moelfre – dip in rock pools and try a swim if you’re brave. Ann’s Pantry offers simply the best homemade cakes and meals for those happy to avoid the water and want to watch with a drink in hand. The ice creams on the shore offer such an array of flavours – one for each day of the holiday!
Bring boots and binoculars and combine bird-with walking a spectacular stretch of the Anglesey Coastal Path. Lligwy has a super café too.
Activities abound round here, on land and sea – but it might be hard to tear yourselves away.
