Menai Bridge
Overlooking the Menai Strait, Menai Bridge is perhaps most famous for its iconic bridges which cross the strait – Thomas Telford’s Menai Suspension Bridge and Robert Stephenson’s Britannia Bridge which opened in 1826 and 1850 respectively. Home to some wonderful independent shops, cafes and restaurants and a good base for exploring both on the island and the mainland, this coastal town is a great location for a holiday here on Anglesey.
