An Abersoch hot tub Bolthole for 12, just minutes from the beach
Coed Helyg is a deceptively spacious holiday house, with seven bedrooms and six bathrooms inside and a large garden with a hot tub overlooked by the fabulous glass balcony. The main house has 5 bedrooms and the apartment below has a further 2. Groups needing more accommodation can book Mabuhay which is on the same development as Coed Helyg and sleeps 4 (2 adults and 2 children).
It is hard to believe that this peaceful spot is less than a five-minute walk away from the bustling centre of Abersoch with its renowned restaurants, chic shops and stunning beaches.
Step through the front door and into the hallway from where rooms radiate. The heart of this welcoming holiday house is the open-plan kitchen/dining/living area. This is a perfect social space where you can cook, eat, relax and make plans for the day ahead.
The modern kitchen is well equipped with two ovens and a large induction hob. It opens into the dining area with a large dining table which seats 10. Patio doors lead out from the dining area onto a glass-fronted balcony, where you'll find a large outdoor dining table and chairs. The perfect setting for a sunny evening's barbeque. Relax on the large sofas in the cosy living area, in front of a wood-burning stove.
A handy utility room with a washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer lie beyond. Step back through the living area into the hallway, where you will find three ground-floor bedrooms, all with ensuite shower rooms and a cloakroom.
Upstairs are a further two comfortable bedrooms, both with ensuite bathrooms.
Down a set of slate steps to the side of Coed Helyg is a self-contained lower-ground floor apartment for four. An ideal addition for large groups wishing to have flexibility with their accommodation, it has two double bedrooms, a shared shower room and an open plan living area with a small, fully equipped kitchen, a sofa, an armchair and a TV. The apartment also has its own sheltered patio area with an outdoor table and seating for four.
Coed Helyg is located just a few minutes' walk from the centre of the village of Abersoch. Once a fishing port, it is now a popular seaside destination. The beaches are beautiful - sandy and expansive and popular with watersports enthusiasts. There is a wide choice of places to eat or take out and plenty of independent shops. Two Islands Ice Cream is a lovely coffee shop with amazing cakes, Mickey's Boatyard and Beach Cafe is a popular destination, and the fresh pizzas made at Crust are great! Remember to book early, though as tables in Abersoch's restaurants are in demand!
Further afield, there's the whole of the Llyn Peninsula to explore and beyond into Snowdonia.
