Drive down the leafy, country lane to find a Bath Cottage on the edge Aber Foreshore. Once by a sea water public swimming bath, it’s now a unique retreat with views of the iconic Caernarfon castle and estuary. Delightfully placed with heaps to do on the doorstep, it’s great for walkers and those in search of adventures and fun.

You’ll feel nicely calmed as soon as you step through the door. The stairs rise to an airy room with a view, with all the living areas beautifully placed together to enjoy the view. Find a kitchen neatly to the point tucked neatly into the corner. Eat around the large oak table or relax snugly sitting with drink in hand by the cosy fire in the living area. The balcony area is a joy to watch the sun go down. Plenty of seating too al everyone wil lwnat to be outside.

Downstairs to the family bedroom with a generous king bed and a handy set of bunks in the corner. The next king bedroom offers a calm retreat for bedtime. and a peaceful slice of Gwynedd dark night skies to aid undisturbed sleep. A shower room caters for both bedrooms.The third bedroom is large and with soothing views, from two windows flooding it with green light. The ensuite bathroom is a step away - handsome with a bath.

A sensible wash/drying room is well thought out and handy.

Bring the kids for big gulps of the freshest air and they can play out in the garden that laps up the sun. Fantastic walks lead from the door - you can walk to Caernarfon Town for food, and there's plenty of adventures and thrills locally as you're brilliantly placed for exploring coast and country.

Location

One of the highlights of Aber Foreshore is its proximity to the historic Aber Swing Bridge just half mile takes you there and right to Caernarfon Castle, commanding the best spot in the historic town. The guided tours are worth booking by the way. For the creatives or just lovers of vibrancy, Cei Llechi is a hub for all things lovely - hosting art and other events.

Also, in the town find The Old Courthouse or closer to home Molly’s is up the road at Coed Helen Caravan Park for great food. Palace Vaults and Y Goron/The Crown pubs are a handy stroll away.

For railway enthusiasts The Welsh Highland Railway runs from Caernarfon past the foot of Yr Wyddfa/Snowdon. Another Snowdon - Lord Snowdon, the renowned photographer and former husband of Princess Margaret, was laid to rest in a private burial at the remote St Baglan's Church just around the corner. A spot chosen for its tranquillity and beauty.

For children, Gypsy Wood is a couple of miles away – another magical outdoor place to spend adventure time. Right on the doorstep is Clwb Golff Caernarfon Golf Club. A 18-hole golf course with a view.
