Bilidowcar is the brilliant Welsh name for a Cormorant and you'll hopefully see these magnificent birds swooping under the Menai Suspension Bridge before landing on the jetty below the house. There is simply no better place to see the famous old bridge and the wild waters of the Menai Straits below.

Bilidowcar is small but perfectly formed with plenty of windows to admire those views. Downstairs is the living area with the sleeping areas and bathroom upstairs. There is a small lawned garden outside and a patio with outside furniture. A path snakes its way from Bilidowcar down to the jetty on the water below (this is private for you and the friendly owners who live next door). A beautiful and romantic bolthole for 2, kick back with a glass of wine and look at those ever-changing views of the world first suspension bridge and the multitude of yachts and pleasure craft passing below its chains.

Location
Bilidowcar is situated in Treborth which is directly opposite Menai Bridge on the mainland side. The Antelope pub is 100 yards away but there are some fantastic restaurants (inlcuding the Michelin starred Sosban and Old Butchers) and pubs just over the bridge in Menai Bridge. The walk across and back at the end of the night may well be the highlight of any evening!
