The perfect Beaumaris Bolthole
Back

This lovely holiday cottage is a perfect base in which to spend time with family or friends, getting to know this delightful corner of North Wales.

Full Description

Custom Mews sits on quiet Bryn Lane in historic Beaumaris, 50 yards from the seafront while a 2 minute walk along Rosemary Lane takes you to the centre of this beautiful medieval town. The house itself has an interesting history and was completely renovated in 2023. Now, exposed stone walls, slate floors, huge sash windows and ancient beams blend seamlessly with modern bathrooms, kitchen and a mix of contemporary furniture and antique pieces to provide a perfect Beaumaris bolthole.

There are two bedrooms and a shower room downstairs. Upstairs is a large space constituting the open plan kitchen, dining and living area as well as a second shower room. Vaulted ceilings, beams and the incredible stonework on the exposed gable give this room real wow-factor while remaining a practical and sociable space to relax in after a days exploring or to gather for an evening meal.

Things to do

"We had a wonderful stay, thank you so much! The cottage is gorgeous and is fully equipped, it has everything you need. The area is beautiful and we really enjoyed our break. Thank you"
"Had a fantastic stay. The cottage was within walking distance to everything town offered. The place was spotless and achieved something most Airbnb's do not, it was very homely."
"Custom Mews is a beautiful, spacious, well-equipped two-story abode in the quiet heart of Beaumaris. We loved our 5 night stay there and would return in a heartbeat. Aesthetically pleasing, warm, quiet and spotlessly clean, we could stroll around town each morning (the home is only a few metres from a waterway view) and use it as a base for our wider Anglesea meanderings. I would have loved to know more about the history of the building, but suffice to say its latest renovations make the most of the space and pay homage to its history."
"High spec finish, well equipped. Very cosy"
