A chic beach Bolthole in popular Rhosneigr
Back

Gwel Y Mor is located slap bang in the heart of buzzy seaside Rhosneigr and is a fabulously convivial space to gather with family or friends.

Full Description

Upstairs, pop onto the veranda, warm and sunny, with a lovely garden and distant sea views - an easy place to read or spot nature. Step through to the open-plan living/kitchen/diner. Snuggle up on the magnificent sofa and enjoy the TV with a full Sky package to occupy the clan. This is a very happy place to be, whatever the weather.

Cook in the well-equipped large open-plan kitchen with sleek worktops, a good prepping island, a wine fridge and lots of oven space so everyone can get involved– everything you need for a lively dinner party!

Decked out in calming, neutral tones, the beautifully dressed bedrooms beckon with great beds. Two have bathrooms, and an additional family bathroom is handy in the hall. Big glass doors bring in the light in the main bedroom and lead you straight to a bistro set for a morning coffee.

Pack up buckets, spades and fishing nets and jump to sandy beaches. The sand and shores lead along from beach to beach here, perfect for beach combing or you could try a spot of paddle boarding. Borrow a bodyboard or two from the surf shops before heading to the sea.

Back at Gwel y Mor, prepare food in the kitchen, ready to eat outside in your own garden. Gather around the BBQ and beer station for nights in after a day spent outdoors; it’s the perfect spot for kicking back with your favourite people. Or, stay home and lie back on the sun loungers to top up the tan and sleep.

For larger gatherings, Gwel Y Wyddfa next door can also be booked. An adjoining gate makes this handy to extend an invitation to more family and friends (in total, the two cottages sleep 12).
