Full Description

Hyfrydle is steeped in history, dating back to the 1890s, and with that in mind, the owners have lovingly restored this characterful nautical home back to its former glory.

As soon as you enter the door you are greeted by the family-friendly feel. A large dining area off a newly installed kitchen welcomes you. Chefs will enjoy the fully equipped kitchen and large fridge and freezer for pre-prepared holiday meals. Through the kitchen nestles the all-important utility area and a newly installed shower room to ease the pressures on a full house.

Through to the front sitting room you wander, light-filled and inviting thanks to a log burner sitting ready. This easy-on-the-eye sitting room calms you whether you are occupied playing board games, catching up with friends, or spending a lazy morning finishing your latest book.

The upstairs main bedroom with king-sized bed has plenty of space for a travel cot should an infant be staying too. Next door a twin bedroom that flexes upon request into a super king bedroom for two. The final room on the first floor is a family bathroom with a bath awaiting bubbles or a shower option for those ready to explore the day ahead.

The final flight of stairs take you up to a double bedroom in the eaves. Hyfrydle's secret den for peace away from others and an ideal, light-filled bedroom for two.

Outside an enclosed courtyard grabs the sun and allows for al fresco dining and sunbathing dogs. The all-important private parking just beyond makes it very easy to stay in this home from home.

Things to do

"Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us for our family reunion, spending time on the beach and visiting a couple of NT houses was just what we wanted. Thank you. We had a cosy afternoon spent in front of a roaring fire and a very wet day- after a great lunchat the Bull's Head- recommended."
"Hyfrydle, what a very appropriate name for such a wonderful and clean house! You have thought of everything possible to make it so welcoming."
"Can recommend this house to others who are thinking about a stay in Beaumaris or the general area. Cosy and warm whilst temperatures outside reached -2C. Clean and tidy and everything worked. Good quality cooking knives in a kitchen designed to be used for cooking - not just take-aways. Off road parking was great in a town with many parking restrictions. The landlord obviously cares very much about the welfare of customer tenants. Well done and thanks. We will be booking again."
"This house is amazing. Will be back for sure!"
"Wonderful little “gem” in a perfect location. Cosy, comfortable and clean, simply delightful. We have had a fantastic time with our parents – bowling, putting, walking and eating. The dogs have also loved every minute; a huge bonus is the safe secure garden!! Thank you, I’m sure we will be back."
"What a lovely house in a great location. We had everything we needed, it was spotless and very comfortable. We had a lovely autumn break, thank you."
