Full Description
Through the bright front door (adorned with squirrel knocker obviously!) and you're into the panelled and wallpapered sitting room which has an enormous sofa centred around the fireplace with the TV cleverly hidden in the cabinetry. To the right, you'll find the ground floor King bedroom with its ensuite wet room.
Continue through to the spacious kitchen, a beautiful space with banquette seating around the dining table to one side and the cook's area to the other, separated by the kitchen island. Off the kitchen you'll find a useful utility and WC. French windows lead out to the garden; this is separated into distinct areas which flow into each other. There is a fire pit area surrounded by thermowood benches, paths lead to sitting areas and the outdoor shower while the outdoor dining area shelters under the wooden pergola at the far end. Through the oak gate you'll find that rarest of amenties in medieval Beaumaris- private parking for two vehicles, complete with EV charger.
Back inside the house, you'll find three more bedrooms upstairs, the burgundy King bedroom to the rear has a dressing room and ensuite shower room while the two front bedrooms (twin beds which can be made as Kings on request) share a bathroom. Skilfully wallpapered exposed ceilings beyond the queen trusses create a wonderful sense of space in these bedrooms.

There are several art galleries within a stone's throw of Squirrel Cottage including the Janet Bell Gallery opposite, while the the centre of Beaumaris with its superb restaurants, tapas bars, ancient pubs, fantastic cafes and delis are all within a few hundred yards- explore them at your leisure. That's before you explore the medieval castle, go crabbing on the pier, stroll along the beach or venture further afield around Anglesey. Opposite Squirrel is St Marys and St Nicholas, a fine 14th Century church- look out for incredible events hosted at the church.
