Wake up to spectacular views across Cardigan Bay and the mountains of Snowdonia at Swn Y Môr Bach, a spacious coastal retreat in the heart of the Llyn Peninsula. Sleeping up to six guests in three large en-suite bedrooms, this dog-friendly cottage combines comfort, space and stunning scenery, making it the perfect base for family holidays, walking adventures and relaxing breaks by the sea.

Attached to the owners’ home yet completely private, Swn Y Môr Bach is a home from home. The heart of the cottage is the exceptionally spacious lounge and dining area. When the weather turns, curl up in front of the TV and recline. The room also hosts a dining table perfectly placed by the patio doors and the south-facing patio. The lights and stunning views across Cardigan Bay towards the Snowdonia mountain range make meals a joy.

You cook in the smart grey kitchen, flooded with light and patio doors. We want your holiday to begin the moment you arrive so to help you settle in, we provide a generous selection of breakfast ingredients, giving you enough supplies to prepare breakfasts for the first few days of your stay.If you’d rather not think about cooking after your journey, we can also provide a delicious homemade one-pot supper for your arrival evening by prior arrangement. Simply let us know when booking and we’ll have everything ready for you to relax, unwind and enjoy your first evening at Swn Y Môr Bach.

A separate laundry room provides additional convenience.Bedrooms are simple, a king and a double and a twin. All three have an ensuite. Everything is on one level to keep it easy.

On summer evenings settle on the south-facing patio sofa with a book and a glass of wine while something delicious simmers in the kitchen and children and dogs play safely. The fully enclosed rear garden enjoys sunshine throughout the day. Within the stunning grounds of a small touring holiday park, you can enjoy the stunning communal gardens with mature trees, colourful shrubs and flowers.

Location

Swn Y Môr Bach is perfectly located for discovering both the Llyn Peninsula and Eryri (Snowdonia National Park).

The All-Wales Coast Path is just a three-minute drive away. Or for the die-hard walkers a 15-minute walk. Offering miles of spectacular coastal scenery, you can walk in either direction. If your legs are weary, return by bus (the no 3), taking you right to the entrance on request. Head further down the coast to explore the beaches at Criccieth or Nefyn. Pwllheli is a magnet for the enthusiast of the water sports. Or head down the road for Eryri (Snowdonia National park) 30 mins away. Closer to home it’s a short distance to the village of Chwilog, where you can enjoy home-cooked meal at the local community owned pub, Y Madryn, or pick up some fresh food for the barbeque at the excellent butchers in Chwilog. The popular seaside town of Criccieth is just three miles away with its castle, beaches, cafés, restaurants and shops.
