Contemporary house with incredible views over Cardigan Bay
Back

Swn y Mor has been compeltely renovated in 2024 and is now ready to welcome its first lucky guests. Situated on Old Llanfair Road, a lovely old lane above the dramatic corniche below which runs from Harlech to Barmouth. The views are the star here- immediately below is the vast beach of Morfa Harlech with its dune systems and the wonderful St Davids Golf course. Cardigan Bay sweeps to both directions and over the blue seas, the Llyn Peninsula stretches off to the west.

Full Description

The house has been redesigned to take advantage of these spectacular views with the main open plan living area having huge sliding patio doors to frame the vista. Kitchen, dining and living areas flow into each other and make for a convivial open space for friends or families to enjoy. The three main bedrooms are beyond, one of which has an ensuite bathroom. There is also a family bathroom.

On the lower level of the house there is a cool games room with lots of space to spread out as well as the sofa, TV and games console and a handy shower room.

Harlech is a scenic 15 minute walk away along the lane and has a great selection of pubs and restaurants as well as an incredible medieval castle perched on its rock. Paths lead down to the beaches below in both directions- Llandanwg to the south and Harlech to the north. Or head inland to walk in some of the most beautiful low lying hills in Eryri (Snowdonia), peppered with ancient burial chambers and standing stones. Join the path of Taith Ardudwy , a 24 mile signposted journey through the ancient commote of Ardudwy . The views are always stunning and its rare to meet other travellers.
