Back

Ty’r Ardd is a superb, extended 1850s detached holiday cottage set in half an acre of mature gardens. It's situated in the village of Pentraeth near beautiful Red Wharf Bay, on the popular island of Anglesey.
This delightful dog-friendly holiday cottage is tucked away down a quiet, secluded lane and the countryside around it is designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Fully modernised to provide quality accommodation throughout, it offers a warm welcome at any time of the year.

Full Description

Ty'r Ardd has four pleasant bedrooms, two on the ground floor and two upstairs on the first floor. The spacious and airy sitting room has a wood-burning stove - a lovely addition for cooler evenings - and views of the garden and beyond. The comfortable fitted kitchen/diner is a space where there is room for everyone to relax.

Once the former gardener’s cottage on a large estate, Ty’r Ardd's garden will impress. Things to do

"Lovely quiet cottage. Amazing garden for dogs but bear in mind the pond and fish! Hot tub lovely. Very comfortable beds and sofas. Well equipped kitchen. Also single track road can be tricky so have your wits about you. 5 minute walk to the beach which was great for the dogs."
"The family had a good time at Ty'r Ardd. It was a relaxing and peaceful stay. Wonderful to be able to amble down to a quiet beach. The large garden was appreciated by all, including the dog. So overall a great stay, and would come again."
"We had a wonderful week's break at Ty'r Ardd. The cottage was lovely, 5 adults, 2 being pensioners who managed the steps inside the cottage without problems. It was also ideal for our dogs, who played happily in the large garden and enjoyed a short stroll to the beach. We didn’t want to leave and would definitely look at returning."
