A peaceful Hideaway for 8 in the heart of Beaumaris
45 Bryn Lane, peacefully tucked away on a quiet lane just off the seafront, is just a couple of hundred yards from the centre of Beaumaris. Formerly two cottages, it has now been converted and newly renovated into one spacious dog-friendly holiday house that comfortably sleeps 8.
The beautiful modern kitchen is tastefully appointed and has high-quality fixtures such as the range cooker which makes preparing meals here a pleasure. There's a dining table in the kitchen for breakfast or less formal meals. There's a useful utility room off the kitchen with plenty of space for coats and boots, a freezer and a washing machine.
Partially open-plan, the kitchen leads through to the main living and dining area, a bright sociable space for friends or family to gather and relax. And after a meal together, there are plenty of comfy sofas around the woodburning stove on which to kick back and relax.
Upstairs, you'll find four lovely bedrooms: a king room which has views over the Menai Strait towards the mountains of Snowdonia, a second king room, a twin bedroom (which can be made into a super king on request) and finally, a bunk room. All are well-considered and beautifully decorated. Also upstairs, there are fresh modern bathrooms - one with a bath and shower over, the other a shower room.
Patio doors lead from upstairs to an unexpected bonus, a sunny roof terrace with views over a leafy part of Beaumaris and the nearby church. What a perfect place to unwind on a sunny afternoon!
The popular coastal town of Beaumaris has a wealth of cafes and restaurants, making eating out a pleasure - go for afternoon tea at Beau's Tea Room, buy ice creams from The Red Boat Ice Cream Parlour or dine out at the AA Rosette-awarded Bishopsgate House Hotel. Just a taste of the many excellent options at your fingertips. Explore independent shops and visit the medieval castle, the last and perhaps the best of the strongholds created by Edward I and abandoned before it was completed. Children of all ages will love to go crabbing on the Victorian Pier - crabs are partial to bacon if you have any spare from breakfast and lines and nets can be purchased locally.
Further afield, the whole of the island of Anglesey is on your doorstep, with miles of coastal path and sandy beaches waiting for you to start your adventure.
