Cottage for 5 with incredible views of the Menai Straits and bridge
Back
Gellideg occupies a fine and elevated position on Beach Road in Menai Bridge and has incredible views of the famous Menai suspension bridge. There are not many better places to watch the yachts and kayaks navigate the eddies and rapid tides of the Menai straits- some of the fastest in the world.

Full Description

The house has been completely renovated in 2024 and the standard of the interiors now match and complement the outstanding views. Set over three floors there are two bedrooms on the lower ground floor (a twin and a single with a shared shower room) with the 3rd King bedroom on the 1st floor which has an ensuite shower room. The main ground floor has been opened up to make a convivial and social space consisting of a kitchen area with island, a dining area and the sitting area. Its a wonderfully thought out house with amazing views in a wonderful spot.

Location

Tear yourself away from the house and you'll find plenty to do in Menai Bridge. It has a thriving restaurant scene with Dylans a few minutes walk along the waterside and the Michelin starred Sosban & Old Butchers, Plus39, Libertine, Sage Kitchen all within a 5 minute walk as are some great pubs- including the Victoria Hotel- the best view from a beer garden on Anglesey in our opinion! Menai Bridge is also home to plenty of interesting independent shops, galleries, delis, antique shops and even a chocolatier and a very fine cheesemonger. Jump on a Rib Ride from the boat yard 200 yards away if you prefer a faster paced tour of the waters below!
