A peaceful Hideaway just a stone's throw from Lleiniog beach
Back

Gwel y Fenai (Menai view) is part of a prestigious redevelopment of the former barns at Aberlleiniog Manor. Literally overlooking the Menai Strait and onto the Carneddau and Snowdonia mountains beyond, this lovely holiday cottage is just a stone's throw from Lleiniog beach. This peaceful Hideaway has been delicately designed, and the restoration work across the whole manor has reused and preserved as much of the existing buildings as possible. It has a long history, stretching back to its association with the nearby Aberlleiniog Castle, a motte and bailey fortification built between 1080 and 1099. Gwel y Fenai retains many characterful features and has been finished with a modern twist.

Full Description

This is an upside down house, created specifically to make best use of the sea and mountain views from the first floor.

On the ground floor is a modern well equipped kitchen, a twin bedroom and a bathroom, all beautifully presented. Upstairs is the main living/dining area, a king size bedroom and a shower room.

The Anglesey coastal path passes along the nearby beach and makes this a perfect Bolthole for cosy winter walking breaks away from it all.
