Foodie temptations are a stroll away too - Central Bakery for breakfast croissants, The Midland for tapas or try the Bull’s Head Inn for finer dining. The beach and pier are a joy – nothing beats fish and chips in the salty air or crabbing. Seacoast Safaris - Puffin Island Boat Trips is a must for wildlife lovers. For a break from the frothy green sea and a mysterious old castle, head out for unbroken views of green fields, sheep, swathes of woodland and open skies. Stop off to see the iconic Penmon Priory and lighthouse and top up on cake at the Pilot House café at Penmon point. There are miles of beaches on this side of the Island. This is the place to be for peace and the fun of the town too.
