A stylish Bolthole for four nestled by the Menai Strait with ever changing sea views
Back

Noddfa is a super stylish getaway on the coast with watery views over the Menai Strait. Renovated to perfection, you can sit and hear the waves lap from the balcony. The iconic Menai Bridge is a stunning backdrop to this coastal Bolthole which is just a short walk from the heart of Menai Bridge.

Full Description

The smart kitchen with its top-notch appliances is a great place to eat, relax and cook. Take drinks to the front balcony and gaze out to sea. There is also a chill-out terrace for the evenings at the top of the rear garden. The sturdy buttresses of the Menai Bridge provide an impressive backdrop over the rooftops.

Sink into the large comfortable sofa in front of the wood-burner at the end of a day to chat and plan tomorrow and new adventures. Eclectic art, both local and from further afield and a Smart TV add to the ambience.

Bedrooms are light, bright and stylishly furnished with big comfy beds. The main bedroom has a balcony and an ensuite shower room to boot! The family bathroom is marine elegance personified with a deep bath, shower and fine fittings.

Pop-out to buy fresh bread for breakfast from Dylans’s new shop on the high street and eat out on the terrace. Or there are plenty of restaurants within five minutes’ walk – The Menai Strait is famous for its shellfish so you’ll always find mussels and oysters on the menu over at Dylans’s restaurant down the road. Menai Bridge is a leafy residential area with a Waitrose, a few bars, eateries, eclectic little shops such as Hawthorne Yard and Space Like This for interior inspiration.

Things to do

"This was perfect for 5 adults and 2 kids. Lawned area we used the most for the kids to run and play- great that rackets and balls etc where on site too. Bbq area was good and just off the kitchen, we ate at the dining table. Kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were comfy. Bathroom and shower room had plenty of towels. We didn’t walk to the town/ beach as we had an elderly adult and young child as part of the group. We visited a few of the local beaches via car, and went into the local town to collect a takeaway and to visit the co-op."
"Absolutely stunning properly. in a fantastic and quiet location off the beaten track but within walkable distance to two gorgeous beaches. A 20 minute walk in either direction out the gate would take you to Traeth Bychan or Traeth Benllech a much larger beach with a beautiful Tavern on The Bay pub/restaurant half way along the beach. Continuing along here takes you to Red Wharf Bay and the lovely Boathouse cafe/restaurant.
House was immaculate, exactly like the pictures, with a well-stocked kitchen, dishwasher and washing machine. The bedrooms were gorgeous and our family were delighted with their rooms. We had a wonderful stay and would happily go again."
"I wanted to take the opportunity to say thanks again for allowing us to use your beautiful home.
We celebrated with friends for my partner's 50th birthday and Linda and Gareth couldn't have been more welcoming.
We were left a beautiful, generous hamper complete with wine, crisps and fruit loaf. She even left a lovely 50th balloon for Scott! A truly lovely touch.
We had a small issue connecting to the wifi but Gareth came over promptly and fixed it.
Outstanding service.
I would highly recommend Linda and Gareths home to stay.
Stunning and immaculate.
Thanks once again."
"The house was excellent, very clean, modern and tidy, we could not fault the house at all really big garden great for playing with the grandchildren in. Only five minutes drive to the nearest beach and 10minutes drive to Tesco."
"Beautiful ‘Noddfa’ is quite simply a dream coastal bolthole! We were all absolutely bowled over by this beautiful modern house and its incredible location. In my opinion, possibly the best view on the island! Such love, care and attention have been lavished on this house – it’s light, bright, airy, luxurious, stylish, clean, comfortable and is an absolute joy to live in. To be honest, I could not fault a thing. We loved being able to use the green space across the road, which is quite a popular hotspot for taking selfies, crabbing at high tide and spotting the local resident heron! Thanks to the amazing weather, we were able to get the most from the house – enjoying breakfast on the balcony every morning (watching the numerous different boats and birds and the mesmerising swirling tidal waters of the Strait), and then relaxing with a drink every evening(stargazing and waiting for the moon to rise over the bridge). Just wow! We love Anglesey and all it has to offer, and this was an unforgettable family holiday. We would not hesitate to highly recommend this beautiful house to others and would love to return someday!"
"My daughter & I spent a most memorable week in Anglesey, staying in Noddfa beside the Menai bridge. We could not fault the accommodation. Everything was bright & spotlessly clean & so much thought has gone into furnishing etc. The welcome pack was so thoughtfully put together too. We really didn't want to leave as we were so comfortable & having explored Anglesey each day, we can't wait to return & continue our exploration of this beautiful area."
