Stunning boutique stay for 6 in Beaumaris
Back
There arent many houses in Beaumaris with such incredible views from the gardens; slightly elevated over Beaumaris, the Menai Straits and Carneddau mountains are inescapable from this wonderful space.
Sleeping four in the main house and two in the wonderful garden room, this house will delight from the first time you set foot in it....

Full Description

The house itself was completely renovated in 2025 and is testament to the vision of the owners and their designers Mairead and Co. (Read here for details of Mairead and Co's last collaboration with Boltholes).
A word from Mairead...

"We’ve loved helping to turn this unassuming little cottage into a perfect little jewel of a holiday retreat with it's incredible secret garden looking over the tops of Beaumaris across the water to the mountains We embraced the cosy nature of the existing building, adding loads of panelling, soft colours and characterful bathrooms, highlighting the existing beams and adding in a bit more character for good measure. In the new south facing extension kitchen diner and all round sociable space it always feels warm and light so we went with a more pared back Skandi vibe to hopefully lure you into that garden or to just soak up the dramatic North Wales sky's from inside. We had lots of fun with beautiful tiles and colours throughout with a little of pop of red everywhere so it hopefully feels like a fun and calm coastal escape”

The first room downstairs is the snug and it is precisely that- cosy and warm and the perfect place to snuggle up on the sofa, light the woodburning stove and settle down for the night after a busy day out. Further on, you'll find the main living space, a large kitchen/dining/living area flooded with light thanks to the roof lights and bi-fold doors to one end. The kitchen is functional as well as beautiful and forms a great sociable space thanks to the kitchen island with dining table and more sofa space beyond. The bi-fold doors lead out onto a small sunken patio with a built in sofa forming part of the retaining wall.
Steps lead up to the garden with a dining pergola to one side and the main space beyond. Carefully designed planting is evident and paths lead to the garden room and a firepit area. Both are positioned to take full advantage of those wonderful views.
The garden room is self-contained, warm and modern. A king size bed, sofa and TV as well as an ensuite means this is likely to be the most desired bedroom in the house!
Back inside the main house, stairs lead up to a twin bedroom, a double bedroom and a family shower room.
The attention to detail is immaculate throughout and this is a house that deserves to be enjoyed by happy holidaymakers!
