Tranquillity and birdsong surround this lovely hideaway for four
Back

Tyn Llan is reached by heading down a private track - go past the ancient church, to rural bliss. The beautiful gardens are a haven; ponder by the stream and read quietly by pots of geraniums. The views from this whitewashed little Welsh listed cottage are as peaceful and calm as it gets.

Full Description

Slate slabs set in the garden pathway lead to your rustic haven. Inside Tyn Llan, with stone flagging and underfloor heating in the kitchen, remnants of the old cottage may remain, but style and comfort are now the order of the day. The sitting room is super with gentle colours, stone flags, a warming wood-burner and striped blinds; sink into a squashy snuggler chair or sofa with your drink and unwind.

A spacious family kitchen is well equipped with a great gas hob, good ovens for the keen cook and everything you need to prepare a super supper. A chunky dining table keeps the country feel and is convenient here for unhurried dinners. Underfloor heating in the kitchen keeps the toes toasty warm throughout the year.

The main king bedroom at Tyn Llan is beautifully uncluttered with warm colours and simple furnishings. Wake to views over the garden. Next door is a twin room, small but perfectly formed.

A pretty bathroom, crisp and shiny with a large bath to help soak away any weary limbs.

Outside the large, established garden is a delight with seating areas and a trampoline for all to enjoy.

Things to do

"Tyn Llan is our new favourite place!! We thoroughly enjoyed our time here, such a peaceful, calm retreat. The house is beautiful, had everything and more, we loved the extras - treats and flowers - Thank you. All appreciated!!!! We will definitely be back."
"What a wonderful week we had at Tyn Llan! The cottage is absolutely fantastic - spotlessly clean and has everything we could possibly need. Our two young boys loved the garden to play cricket, football and hide and seek! Anglesey has been wonderful and we have been blessed by amazing weather all week so have explored so much. We will be recommending to our friends and family and would love to visit again. Thank you to Ann."
"What a gloriously tranquil spot - this has been just the relaxing week I hoped for. I've been coming to Ynys Mon for many years and this is one of the most delightful places I have stayed. The cottage is so cosy and comfortable with everything you could possibly want - and the broadband is the best and most reliable I've come across on the island. Very very sad to be leaving but will return again soon!"
"An absolute gem of a cottage. So lovely, welcoming, peaceful and comfortable. I think it's the nicest cottage we've ever stayed in! Thank you Ann. The welcome hamper, everything we could possibly need, not to mention a lit fire and lights on for when we arrived, just made our stay even better - I felt at home immediately. The cottage is warm and cosy and it was a delight to sit out in the garden in the spring sunshine overlooking the mountains. We hope to be back again very soon!"
