A touch of blue
The seaside blue theme is echoed throughout the smart and contemporary barn. The kitchen, dining and living room spaces flow together nicely, and with plenty of windows and a sliding patio door, are flooded with light. A blue kitchen with top quality appliances hosts a friendly table for memorable meals. Comfy sofas and rustic furniture are stylish and pristine. Both a Smart TV with firestick and DVD player awaits all those who long to catch up with their favourite series. And with high-speed broadband, a hot tub and family board games to enjoy all are catered for.
Everything here is tip-top. The well-dressed bedrooms have beds that are fabulously comfortable with crisp white linen and Welsh blanket throws. One has a king-size bed with an en-suite with sparkling tiles and a power shower. A compact twin room is cosy. The large shower wet room is great for throwing the kids into after sea frolics and is also perfect for wheelchair users.
Hot tub
Outside facing southeast is the sheltered terrace with views of the fields adjacent. Wallow in the hot tub and watch for sunset, see dark skies full of stars or simply wait for the chef to call you for fresh fish off the BBQ. Allow your dog to relax too as the garden is dog friendly and secure.
Plenty to see and do
Just a scamper down past the local cottages you find a local pub, The Groeslon that serves traditional pub food and village shop in less than a mile. Then head down to Menai and the Coastal Path. Here is the Anglesey Sea Zoo which is a gem for children. Halen Mon, the home of world-renowned Anglesey Sea Salt, is here too, so head off to Hooton’s for homegrown produce and season it with smoked salt. Foel Farm Park is down the road and captivates tots – even adults love the tractor rides. Bryn Celli Ddu, an impressive Neolithic burial mound, is near Llanddaniel Fab and is crammed with unusual features from a turbulent past.
Within easy reach too of the National Trust properties of Plas Newydd and Penrhyn Castle and also convenient for the Anglesey Circuit (13 miles) and the Holyhead to Ireland Ferry (23 miles), you may never rest. The area offers many attractions to birdwatchers and other nature enthusiasts. Newborough Forest is a great destination for red squirrels, sand and sea and is the most idyllic setting with miles of beach and Llanddwyn Island at its end.
Foodie favourites
For food lovers there is the Michelin Star restaurant “Sosban and The Old Butchers” and “Dylan’s” a short 13-minute drive away in Menai Bridge.
