Rambles start from the door through lazy country lanes or it’s an easy drive to the coast for supper if you’re feeling lazy about cooking. Rhoscolyn has a couple of places to sip or savour. Sit down for a tasty meal at The White Eagle - or pop in for a cheeky half and enjoy the sandy views of the beach. Dogs are invited too and their owners will be in heaven here! The main beach seamlessly joins the Coastal Path so there’s a pleasant hike over to Trearddur bay to try Welsh fish and chips at Scarletts. Or for more watery views, Ocean’s Edge by the RNLI station on the beach is a must visit.
Or head further down the coast to explore the beaches at Porth Dafarch and walk and walk the coastal paths at Holyhead Mountain. South stack is a jaw dropping visit for bird lovers and lovers of beautifully dramatic landscapes. Eryri (Snowdonia National Park) is 30 mins away and Menai Bridge and Beaumaris are coastal villages with plenty of places to linger at.
Then it’s back home to a very comfortable bed. Unwind or take to adventures – the best of both worlds can be found here at Mor Annedd
