Three properties to feel the spring bloom in (even if there are April showers)

Winter breathes its final chill as spring drifts in, welcoming in those longer days, colourful countryscapes and whispers of summer on the horizon. It’s a glorious time of year, when we can enjoy sun-kissed strolls spotting the odd lamb or calf, still enjoy darker evenings in front of campfires and stars, and savour buttered hot cross buns, freshly toasted to see in slow mornings.

It’s a season of equal measures indoors and out – take your chance whilst it’s bright and breezy and you’ll see the best of North Wales. If you find yourself in need of shelter however, we have winkled out three of the most beautifully designed of our spaces, bursting with florals and elegant nooks where you can tuck up and wait out the spring showers.

Discover our three favourite properties to see in springtime below…

Claremont

Beautiful Claremont is as eclectic and joyful inside as the colourful promenade of Llanfairfechan in which it sits. The soft pink seaside holiday house is just a hop, skip and jump from the beach, which makes it ideal for those springtime dashes outdoors to make the most of bright weather – as well as the dash back indoors to warm up if you’re brave enough to take your first dip of the year!

Inside, you’ll find lovingly designed interiors by the ever-talented Mairead & Co, from quartz worktops and encaustic tiles to original Victorian features and stunning wallpaper. Curling up here and watching sunsets over Anglesey and Puffin Island is a springtime dream.

Ty Castell

You’ll discover Ty Castell right in the heart of historic Beaumaris, through a hidden private courtyard where you can enjoy your very own sun trap in the middle of town. Catch a sunny morning in seclusion with a steaming cup of coffee, or throw on a knit and spark up the BBQ for an evening alfresco.

When you’re ready to retreat indoors, Ty Castell welcomes you with sash windows, heritage colours and period features, as well as an unrivalled artwork wall. It’s the ideal space to gather your loved ones to celebrate a special springtime occasion – and to make the most of the beer gardens at The Bull just next door whilst the sun is shining.

Glan Towyn

One of our newest additions, Glan Towyn, Rhoscolyn is quite simply a design masterpiece. Dream up your own idyllic beach house and it would most likely look like this stunning space; festooned with wildflowers in spring, surrounded by fishermen’s cottages and green hedgerows, looking out over beaches, secret coves and azure waters…

Once you have had your fill of the sauna and hot tub, you’ll find that this gem is as exquisite inside as it is out. Venture indoors to be greeted by beautifully bold and botanical-inspired décor – the most evocative space to watch sun, clouds and showers move in over the endless horizon.
